Wood Brothers Racing had been innovators on pit road in NASCAR® when the team was called upon to bring their pit stop prowess to the Indianapolis 500 in 1965. The Wood Brothers crew trekked from Virginia to Indianapolis and pitted Jim Clark’s effort that turned victorious at the end of 500 miles thanks in large part to their swift work on pit road.
