Iconic driver Jeff Gordon closed out his NASCAR Hall of Fame® career in the 2015 season at Homestead-Miami Speedway by driving a special silver-laden No. 24 Chevrolet in celebration of his distinguished list of accomplishments. To give a tip of the cap to Gordon and his “final ride” race from 2015, Hendrick Motorsports® driver William Byron will wheel a similarly-designed No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet during May’s Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® at Darlington.

The official Lionel Racing die-cast of Byron’s No. 24 Axalta Throwback Chevrolet is now available for order. Produced on Lionel Racing’s Chevy tool, each 1:24-scale replica is available in two distinct trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk, plus a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal a detailed undercarriage. Each die-cast also features retro Goodyear tires, a driver-side window net, hand-applied decals, and more. A 1:24-scale die-cast plated in gleaming Color Chrome and a 1:64-scale die-cast are also on offer.
