During the 2025 Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® at Darlington, Cindric’s No. 2 Freightliner Ford Mustang will pay homage to another iconic No. 2, a famed yellow-and-blue car that was synonymous with success in 1979 and 1980.

Fans of the sport’s past and present can now order the official Lionel Racing die-cast of Cindric’s No. 2 Freightliner Throwback Ford Mustang. Produced on Lionel Racing’s Mustang Dark Horse tool, each 1:24-scale replica is available in two distinct trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk, plus a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal a detailed undercarriage. Each die-cast also features rolling Goodyear tires, a driver-side window net, hand-applied decals, and more.
