Two of the most exciting drivers in NASCAR®, Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch, will battle head-tohead for road course supremacy on the streets of Chicago on Saturday, July 5. Both drivers will wheel JR Motorsports Chevrolets as teammates, but only one driver will come out on top of the NASCAR Xfinity Series® duel in the “Windy City.” WeatherTech and Red Bull, both valued partners of the drivers and the JRM team, will provide the support for both van Gisbergen and Zilisch as they vie for Victory Lane. Van Gisbergen enters the July 5 event as the defending race winner and a multi-time NASCAR Xfinity Series® road course race victor. Zilisch, who is in his rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series® with JR Motorsports, has two road course victories already on his young resume. Both drivers will challenge one another and the rest of the field on one of the most challenging road courses on the series’ schedule. Now, Lionel Racing – the Official Die-cast of NASCAR® – is excited to offer fans the official replica Chevrolets of both of these immaculate and eye-catching WeatherTech / Red Bull cars. Fans can add 1:24 and 1:64-scale individual offerings of van Gisbergen’s No. 9 as well as Zilisch’s No. 88 Chevrolets. Produced on Lionel Racing’s NASCAR Xfinity Series® Chevy tool, each 1:24-scale replica features an opening hood, rolling Goodyear tires, hand-applied decals, and more. Both cars can also be ordered in 1:24 scale with Lionel Racing’s exclusive Color Chrome finish. Collectors of autographed memorabilia can also add 1:24-scale editions signed by the driver on the windshield of either offering. The 1:64-scale versions of both cars feature hard-top bodies with an authentic decal package and will be produced on a base. In addition to the individual offerings, Lionel Racing is also making a two-car 1:64-scale set available to collectors, which will feature both SVG’s No. 9 and Zilisch’s No. 88 Chevrolets in custom Packaging.
